A year since our referral
It has been a whole year since we received our daughter's referral. I can remember so vividly getting 'the call' and anxiously waiting for her picture to appear on our computer screen. What a surreal day that was. It felt as if that day would never arrive - and here we are, a year later. I spent hours staring at Allison's picture, sneaking glimpses of her a gazillion times a day, memorizing every detail of her face (since that's all I could see amongst the two loads of laundry that she was wearing).
Even though it seems like yesterday, it feels like Allison has always been a part of our family.

Thos referal pictues always make me think of a "stunned" and confused kids. It's always good to see the happy kids in the 'after'.
Tammy, I remember seeing this referral picture and thinking Allison was a cutie and she just gets cuter every day!A year already since our referrals. Seems like yesterday and yet it seems like an eternity. I remember the anxiety before and the absolute joy after seeing the photos, but I'm having trouble remembering life without Buttons. I'm sure you're feeling the same way.
She's adorable - then and now. Could they have put anymore clothes on her?
What a difference a year makes! Allison was beautiful then and even more beautiful now!

Happy referral anniversary - what a cutie! It's funny how such a major life event can go right out the window and you feel like you've always been a family. When exactly does that happen? Maybe it's all those months of dirty diapers ..

Your daughter is beautiful! We just got our referral on Monday for our precious daughter in Korea! We are excited beyond words!
